How many days in a row can you wear pyjamas all day?

As many days as it takes...

They say 'when life gives you lemons, make lemonade' but they don't tell you what to do when live gives you rain, death, loneliness, friendship issues, bad food and work to do.

As for me? I stay in my pyjamas all day, drink coffee, eat pasta with jarred sauce 24/7 instead of facing the canteen and spend the whole day doing a homework task which could have been done in 3 hours of focused study.

Life often supplies you with messier situations which you haven't been trained to cope with. The reality of studying abroad is that it is a bit of an emotional rollercoaster to be honest. Of course, I expected that to be the case. But when you expect something, you normally have an aching inside you telling you that it will be the opposite and you hold onto this hope as tightly as you can until it eventually manifests itself.

When life here is good, it is really good but when it's bad... it can be VERY bad. One day, I'm clubbing in Athens until 6 am following a beautiful, sunny day, sight-seeing and lazing around in an old bookshop with a coffee in hand. The next, however, I'm imprisoned by the rain, I'm mourning and awaiting a phone call that never comes. Highs and lows sit uncomfortably close in my mind's space.

But when the lows pass, it is this exact moment which I will remember. I will remember those who helped me through, I will remember my reflection on why I got to this state and I will value this understanding for the next inevitable time I get myself into this position.
