Day in the life as an exchange student in Greece during exam season...

Get woken up at 4 am by a French student on the phone in the corridor.

Get dressed and ready at 9 and head straight to the cafe for some much needed heat and energy.

Begin translating more Ancient Greek (which I'm somehow expected to memorise for next week).

Be cheered up by the presence of the girls.

Be put down by their squeals and cheers as they embrace the virtual queue to watch Bruno Mars in the summer.

Continue with head down and mind focused.

Try to fight against the club music which blasts at only 12, midday.

Decide it's time to eat at 2.

Head home to whip up a special meal with the ingredients I especially ordered yesterday.

Begin part 2 of the translations.

Get invited to burger dinner with friends!

Watch the sun set and decide it will be too dark to go for a run when I finish working.

Get lured into arguing with yet another group of Greek students who think that the Erasmus accommodation block is a circus and that it's a good idea to use the corridors as an aisle to push themselves down in a trolley.

Watch their motorbike fade into the darkness of the street as they zoom away, trying to catch a glimpse of their number plate.

Return to finish the last of the translation.

Completed!

But no body back at home has finished their day yet.

It's the 2 hour time difference.

I guess I'll do some more.
